AccuCal was established in 2001 to offer a truly independent and dedicated Revenue Metering Calibration service. Built on experiences gained during the ECNZ and Transpower Revenue Metering up-grade projects and coupled with the latest, extremely accurate purpose built meter and instrument transformer test sets, AccuCal aims to lead the industry with its superior technical and professional revenue metering service.
Location
AccuCal has offices in Hamilton, Christchurch, Auckland and Tauranga. Its head office is located in Hamilton.
The nature of the company and its operation means it can offer clients national coverage with most towns visited at least monthly and main cities more frequently.
The Team
Russell Mann
Russell Mann is the Technical Manager of Accucal, and has vast experience in the metering industry.
Following 10 Years in the high voltage electricity generation and transmission industry, Russell moved into the field of energy metering, and was involved at the start of MARIA (Metering and Reconciliation Information Agreement).
He was heavily involved in the set-up of the first “Class A” Test House in New Zealand to class 0.2 for Meters, CT’s, VT’s.
AccuCal’s Technical Manager is widely known as ‘Best in the Industry’.
Russell was invited to be a member of the Metrology and Calibration Professional Advisory Committee (MCPAC) in 2000 and continues with this role.
